Adobe Acrobat PDF

Distill your file using Adobe Acrobat Distiller, versions 4, 5 or 6.

1. Download our Distiller 4 and 5 settings for either Mac OS 9 or Windows: Mac OS 9 | Windows.

Or see our instructions for Acrobat 6 (Mac OS X or Windows).

2. Uncompress downloaded the file. (WinZip for Windows or Stuffit for Mac.)

3. Copy the uncompressed file, SavoirPrint.joboptions to your Distiller/Settings folder.

Mac OS 9 path should be: (Hard Drive):Applications (Mac OS 9):Adobe Acrobat:Distiller:Settings.

Windows path should be: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat\Distillr\Settings.

4. Choose SavoirPrint from the Job Options pulldown.

5. Drag your PostScript or EPS file over the Distiller Icon or window.

6. If you receive any errors during the distilling process, correct these and re-distill your file.

If necessary, review All Applications for general guidelines on file preparation.

7. Congratulations! Your file is now ready for upload. If you have not already done so,

please log in/register and go to Upload Files.

Acrobat Distiller 6 (and later) for Mac OSX and Windows

1. Change the settings pulldown to PDF/x-1a.

2.. Drag your PS or EPS file to the Distiller window.

3. If you receive any errors during the distilling process, correct these and re-distill your file.

If necessary, review All Applications for general guidelines on file preparation.

4. Congratulations! Your file is now ready for upload. If you have not already done so,

please log in/register, checkout, and go to Upload Files.
